Mildred Johnson Estates consists of 23 single family houses built on vacant lots in the 14621 neighborhood of Rochester. The homes are rented to low income families for a period of 15 years and then will be sold to residents at a substantial discount. The developer, Housing Opportunities, is an affiliate of ROI with extensive experience building and managing property in Rochester. The houses are financed with low income housing tax credits and mortgages from the City of Rochester and the NYS Division of Housing and Community Renewal. Greater Rochester Housing Partnership is providing a construction loan of $3,100,000.
