Rockwood Center created 40 affordable apartments targeting people 62 years of age and older with incomes at or below 60% of the area median. Episcopal Senior Life Communities developed the project to provide seniors with quality housing that offers residents access to meals, social activities, housekeeping and transportation, allowing seniors to live as independently as they would like. Rochester's Cornerstone Group codeveloped the Rockwood Center, which was funded by tax credit financing, the HUD 202 program, Monroe County and a construction loan of $2.6 million from the Greater Rochester Housing Partnership.
