The Greater Rochester Housing Partnership is pleased
to be the home of the Martin Luther King Jr.
In 1968, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Wilson offered a contribution to the community in memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The contribution was to be used to help generate affordable housing for low-income families. Over the decades, the Fund has grown to over $2,500,000. For many years, the Fund was administered by the United Way of Greater Rochester, which oversaw loans and grants and created thousands of affordable housing units.
The Greater Rochester Housing Partnership is proud to expand the housing finance options it offers through the Martin Luther King Jr. Housing Fund.
The Martin Luther King Jr. Housing Fund is available for predevelopment and bridge financing as well as other
difficult-to-obtain financing necessary to create affordable housing.
